The Construction Senior Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing the construction of multiple commercial, and industrial projects throughout the Chicago-land area. They will be working on the project from start to finish. They are responsible for overseeing project managers, superintendents, and working closely with the developers.

Responsible for managing client relationships and understanding client needs. Communications skills must be strong, will be responsible for communication across all mediums of the project.

The Commercial Construction Project Engineer, will be in charge of planning and coordinating technical engineering initiatives to make sure they can complete a project within their budget and according to a schedule. Their duties include upholding project standards by researching compliance regulations, developing project implementation plans and adjusting specifications for elements of a project.

Provide leadership by using effective verbal and written communication to manage the owner/client, architect and consultants, as well as, the project team in all phases of the work.

Understand and implement general conditions and requirements of the contracts associated with each project while monitoring the contract documents for conformance and execution.

• Perform basic general estimating duties such as quantity take offs, data input, and preparing RFI's for plan discrepancies and time issues. Review plans and specification requirements for construction

• Work with owner/client to provide updates, obtain approvals and complete change orders for scope of work revisions. Assists with documenting changes; maintains project records, red line transfers and correspondence.

• Perform initial due diligence of assigned projects to include zoning and code review, title work review and project risk assessment. Secure all necessary permits and/or approvals in accordance with the project schedule.
